Ana Tran - Director of Bands

Ana Tran is in her 9th  year at Creekside Int.  as the Director of Bands. Mrs. Tran  teaches the Wind Ensemble and the beginner woodwind classes. Under her direction, bands have received excellent ratings at the UIL contests and superior ratings since 2017.
Prior to her time in Houston, Mrs. Tran attended Texas State University in San-Marcos where she received her degree in music studies in 2011. While at the university, she had the privilege of studying flute with Dr. Adah Jones, while pursuing her music education degree under the teaching of Dr. Caroline Beatty and Dr. Mary-Ellen Cavitt.  
Mrs. Tran  lives in Houston, TX with her husband Austin, her daughters Zara and Zoe,  and their dog, Mochi.
